New starts and new year resolutions

As January nears we often start to think about setting New year’s resolutions, but often by mid-January resolutions have already started to lose their shine or daily life has got in the way of keeping them going!

Whatever your resolution, you may be interested to read this article from the British Psychological Society which offers tips on keeping resolutions alive as well as suggesting that those of us who do not set any resolutions could take up a new hobby or passion! Giving something up in the New Year isn’t really an attractive prospect, but starting something new, or doing more of something you love sounds far more appealing!

Remember, it is your resolution, but you don’t have to do it alone; be accountable to a friend, family member or colleague. It can really help to keep you on track!
