Given the number of colleagues who are currently off work with COVID-related absences and the increasing rates of community transmission (as outlined at the start of this message) we are now starting to look at the need for further redeployments, to support our critical services.

Last year we launched the Team Derbyshire Healthcare Redeployment Promise, confirming the two-way commitments for colleagues who have been redeployed.

This area aims to provide links to further training to support the education and training needs of individuals returning to practice or moving areas of work due to redeployment and all staff who need any training updates or Continuing Professional Development.

The Trust is also creating a redeployment hub to bring together all aspects of a colleague’s redeployment and facilitate new and ongoing redeployment needs across our services.

The hub will be made up of operational colleagues working closely with representatives from People Services, with the involvement of Staff Side representatives. The team will ensure regular reviews of redeployment, look at training needs and ensure appropriate induction is in place. The hub will also focus on wellbeing needs of redeployed colleagues.

The programmes below are freely available and there are links you can use to help you find resources relevant to your role.
