All Trust colleagues should now have received an invitation to make an appointment to receive their COVID vaccination. On this page, you can find links to book an appointment at our Trust hospital hub, or at one of the other vaccination centres around Derbyshire.

Our Trust hospital hub

The Trust's vaccination hub is at Kingsway Hospital in Derby (only the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine is available at this hub). To book an appointment, please use the link below to our booking system - you will need to be on the Trust network or remote access service to use this system.

Other vaccination centres

If you are aged 18 – 29 and have not yet received your first COVID vaccination, you are advised not to have the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine. There is information about the COVID-19 vaccination and blood clotting in this gov-uk leaflet

You should make an appointment to attend another clinic where an alternative vaccine is available. Vaccinations are also being offered at the following sites.  Please click on the links below to check availability and make an appointment as soon as you can:

Frontline health and social care workers can also now use a national vaccination booking system on the NHS website.

Occasional appointments may also be available at the following sites:

Each link is for a specific site; if you want to look at availability across a number of sites then please check the different links. Slots will continue to be released, so please keep checking the links and book a slot when it becomes available.

Please do not share these links outside of the Trust. The sharing of links is causing considerable pressure on vaccination centres and staff members will be asked to show their work ID badge when they attend an appointment. General information

If you haven’t yet received your first COVID vaccination, please make an appointment as soon as you can.  We know that vaccinations will start to be offered to others in the priority groups and it is important that our colleagues receive this protection as soon as possible.

There will not be any opportunity for colleagues to select which vaccine they would prefer to receive – and colleagues are advised to receive either vaccine at any of the sites available.

There will be a small number of individuals with a history of immediate onset-anaphylaxis to multiple classes of drugs or an unexplained anaphylaxis who should not be vaccinated with the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine. In these circumstances the AstraZeneca vaccine can be used as an alternative (if not otherwise contraindicated).

You can view more information about the two vaccines on the gov.uk website:

There will also be people on site at the vaccination centres who can answer any queries related to suitability.

Please note you will be required to return to your original vaccination site for your second vaccine.  It will not be possible to change venue once you have received your first vaccine.

After your vaccination

Once you have received your vaccine, please remember to let us know using our online reporting tool.  You will need to be connected to the Trust network to do this.
