Staff Forum was formed in the Autumn of 2017 following some key messages that came out of the NHS Staff Survey and Derbyshire Healthcare's Staff Forum Logo FINAL June'18-cropped.jpgquarterly Pulse Checks regarding our workforce community wanting a stronger voice in Trust decisions. This showed how passionate we all were about shaping the future direction of the Trust and creating a welcoming, respectful, inclusive workplace.

As a result of this feedback, the Trust’s Engagement Group at the time developed plans for the this new forum, to enable staff representatives to meet with Executive Directors and shape decisions and initiatives… then Staff Forum was born!

The Staff Forum is an opportunity to create change in the Trust, tapping into the diverse skills and talents of our workforce. It is the place where colleagues can discuss decisions affecting the Trust and put forward ways to deliver better ways of working and better services. It was historically delivered face-to-face where colleagues met up every other month, however due to COVID-19 we are currently running the meetings virtually via MS Teams. The membership is made up of:

•    Nominated representatives
•    Staff Governors
•    Employee network Chairs e.g. chair of BME Network
•    Staffside representative
•    Executive Directors

Please see below a full list of our current members.
