One of Derbyshire’s premier golf clubs has chosen the Trust’s charitable fund as its nominated charity for 2026, and will be raising money during the year for our Radbourne Unit.
Kedleston Park Golf Club, near Kedleston Hall, selects a new charity each year to support through raffles and other fundraising events. This year, the club captain Martin Allen picked the Radbourne Unit, which is one of the Trust’s mental health units supporting people with acute mental health needs.
Martin teed off 2026 by hitting the first drive of the year at the club’s 18-hole golf course on 1 January. Martin also invited a representative from the Trust to say a few words to club members about the Radbourne Unit and its work. The members’ fundraising efforts will help to pay for extra activities and equipment at the unit, not covered by our NHS funding.
We’re very grateful to Kedleston Park Golf Club for their support and are excited to work with them over the next 12 months.
