Callers to the Derbyshire Mental Health Helpline and Support Service may experience some disruption on the morning of Saturday 16 May 2026, due to a planned power outage.
The helpline team are based at Ripley Town Hall. A short power outage is taking place there on Saturday 16 May, some time between 7am and 11am. During this time, calls to the helpline will continue to be answered.
However, it may be more difficult to keep calls in a queue. Callers to the helpline may hear an 'engaged' tone if the helpline is very busy.
Please be assured that the helpline team will be trying to offer support to as many people as possible. If you do have difficulties getting through, please try one of the other crisis support services available.
