Derbyshire Perinatal Community Mental Health

Derbyshire Perinatal Community Mental Health is a specialist service which provides treatment and care in order to support women and birthing people who are experiencing moderate to severe and complex mental health difficulties associated with pregnancy and the postnatal period.

The service has two bases which covers the North and South of Derbyshire and accept referrals from 12 weeks of pregnancy up until 24 months post partum. For those referred after the 18 month period, the service may only be able to offer an assessment and signposting to other relevant services.

DHCFT is a proud research active trust. You may meet a member of our research team, whose role is to provide information about opportunities to take part in national NHS research.

We work together to provide specialist care and interventions, in the community, and on our specialist inpatient mother and baby unit.
