What to expect at your first appointment

Your first appointment will either be online or in person and last for about an hour. We will do our best to be flexible with appointment dates and times.

During your assessment, we will explore any symptoms or difficulties you may be experiencing and discuss both your current and past experiences. This helps us understand your needs and determine whether our service is the most appropriate support for you.

If another service is better placed to meet your needs, we will provide information and guidance on accessing further support.

Who can come to your appointment

Your partner, a family member, or a supportive friend are welcome to attend with you. It's a good way for them to find out how to help you. Your baby and other children are welcome too. Or you may prefer to come alone.
