There are various options for support across Derbyshire which cover your area. We have provided you with some information below about courses and support available in Killamarsh and Chesterfield north, but if you want to know more please contact the team.
Clients are referred to the clinic as part of a safe and effective discharge process. This intervention is time limited, boundaried with specific, individualised intervention dependent upon need.
This is a 7 week low level DBT informed intervention which is delivered by our nurses, targeting Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder diagnosis or traits of this. This innovation is being adopted by The Trust as part of the Personality Disorder Pathway.
The course is aimed at people who are receiving a service from the CMHT, who are ready to taken on new challenges but need information and support to take the next step in their recover and who are wanting to learn alongside others in a group. The course is due to start in 2020 at Staveley Hall on Thursday mornings. It will run for 8 weeks and each session will last for 2 hours.
This is a 12 week programme run in groups of no more than 12 people who are receiving a service from Killarmarsh CMHT. The group aims to build the confidence of members by exploring different creative mediums such as painting, sculpting, photography. The sessions will take place at Cresswell Events Centre, Elmton Road, Cresswell, S80 4BH.
This group is held every Tuesday in Clowne.
This group is held every Wednesday in Staveley.
This group is held every Thursday afternoon in partnership with Staveley Health Living Centre, looking at healthy eating and gentle excercise.
We aim to support people to be connected with their local area providing them with opportunities to connect with community partners. Signposting is aimed at individuals who are able to follow through recommendations more independently. They are held in the following areas.
